It’s been long time the time was started to measure. Romans started with the sundials. And in last three centuries it has evolved. First wearable clocks and pocket watches and wrist watches. Each century gave us something. And without any doubt today I can say that buying a watch is one of the most difficult accessories to buy. Used for fashion, style boast and what not. Watch comes is hundred of brands and thousands of models. Both for men and for women. Gold plated to platinum plated watches and still without a buying guide it difficult to buy. In this buying guide we’ll talk about types of watches, few features and things we have to consider while buying a watch.

Types of watches:
Battery powered watches: very popular and common now days, these types of watches are accurate and do not require winding from time to time. Powered by battery one should remember to change its battery once in every few years.
Mechanical watches: since the main spring needs to be wound to move the gears, these watch needs regular winding. The traditional watches of all these are a bit inaccurate because they lose a few minutes every month and might go to sleep if you forget to wind it up.   • Manual Mechanical Watch: they need winding every day. They are perfect if you are going to wear it only in some occasion. A classic type watch in a classy occasion.
  • Binary Watches/ Digital Watches: they are the latest on the watch timeline and are gaining popularity very rapidly. They use LED lights to display the time in binary form. Very accurate these watches now a day’s comes with loads of other function and very advanced ones.

Function: when you buy a watch than it should be useful to you. If you go for swimming than it should go underwater with you and if you are jogging that it should be able to tell you the lap time.
